|Tavistock Town Council||
Tavistock Town Council is responsible for the museums and gardens of Tavistock and for the pannier market.
Tavistock Library is located opposite the bus station, close to the Wharf and town centre. The library offers a fun and vibrant environment, with a warm welcome to everyone. There are lots of activities for children including story time, Bounce and Rhyme for babies and toddlers and after school Lego Club. The Home Ed group meets at the library every Tuesday morning and there is a regular Chatterbooks reading group, plus lots more going on over the summer holidays.

Calstock Arts is a community arts centre located in a beautifully converted Chapel on the banks of the River Tamar.
We programme a wide range of events including folk, jazz, classical music, comedy, film, theatre, talks and exhibitions. We have a fully licensed bar and pre-event food is now available for some events.
In addition to our ticketed events we also have Gallery Bar Specials. These feature live music and other events from well-known and emerging performers in the south west.
|The Wharf Arts Centre||
The Wharf is located between the River Tavy and Tavistock Canal. It was built in the 18th century as a busy industrial centre, and was converted to its present form by the local council in 1995. Since then it has been privately run as an arts centre offering live music, cinema, theatre and other events.There is also an Art Gallery, a popular Coffee Shop and a Licensed Bar with a uniquie waterside terrace.

Cornish Welcome Tours offers tailor-made tours of Devon and Cornwall for individuals or small groups.
The Edgcumbe tea-room on Cotehele Quay is open daily from 10am to 4pm. After a brisk walk enjoy a light lunch and a glass of wine or an afternoon cream tea. Your dog is also welcome.
