The Voting Tree


The Voting Tree Café Bistro is set in the heart of the Tamar Valley AONB and in the West Devon & Cornwall UNESCO World Heritage site. Surrounded by wonderful walks and views it is a great place to eat.

Our resident chef delivers mouth-watering light lunches during the day, and delicious evening dining too. A roast with all the trimmings are available on the weekend.

To comply with the current Coronavirus legislation there are tables to accommodate groups of 5, 4, 3 and 2.

Fully licenced with bottled beers and wines from Sovereign Wines of Tavistock.

There is an outside courtyard with seating and room for parking bikes/mobility scooters along with two tables that can accommodate wheelchairs.

We abide by the one metre+ rule and ask customers to “Keep out of arms way”.  Any group bookings are expected to be from only one socially safe bubble. Tracking details will be requested on booking and children must be kept close to hand.

Opening Hours

Wednesday through to Saturday in the evenings: 6.30pm-10.30pm.

Day time opening 11.30am to 4.00pm Wednesday through to Sunday. Walk ins are very welcome but if you would like a roast, please book.

There is off road parking for bikes and mobility scooters and dogs are welcome.

Booking is recommended to avoid disappointment and essential for roasts
